When using a material at temperatures of over 600 °C it is vital that it is resistant to corrosion caused by oxidation and high temperatures. In order to achieve this protective oxidic covering, layers must be formed on the surface of the material by alloying with chrome, nickel, molybdenum, aluminium and silicon.
The addition of nickel has hardly any effect on scaling resistance. It is mainly used to improve durability and heat-resistance and to create an austenitic structure.
Thanks to our many years of experience we will also find the right material for your purposes.
